Introduction
In Onport it is possible to define when your dropship providers are paid, and in this article, we will show you that section.
When should your dropship provider get paid?
You may want to pay you vendors before or after shipping the items to your customers, and in Onport you have a section with four different options:
- Before shipping to customers - you can pay your vendor before items are shipped to your customers
- After shipping to customers - you can pay your vendor after items are shipped to your customers
- Once items have been delivered - you can pay your vendor after the items are delivered to your customers (❗️This only works when using the USPS integrations).
- Manually raise invoices - you also have the option to manually raise invoices when needed and then pay your vendor outside Onport.
You can define your payout strategy by going to Contacts > Choose the dropship provider > Payments tab > get to the When should your dropship providers get paid? section:
Once your vendors are paid the information will appear in the payment report under Contacts > Payments.
