Introduction
In this article, we describe how Shopify vendors view an Onport order on their platform.
Getting started
If your vendors use Shopify as their platform, they will receive and fulfill orders directly from their Shopify site. This means that there is no need for them to access external portals for you to communicate these orders to them. Whatever orders come to Onport, will also come to their site.
As you are familiar with how orders look in your Onport portal, you may wonder what it looks like from the vendor's side. This article will show you how the vendors view orders from their Shopify accounts.
What does the order dashboard look like?
In Shopify, the vendor will have an orders tab that lists all the incoming orders and the relevant information. These orders can be filtered out by store as well, so they can view only the orders coming from you if needed.
What information does each order contain?
When clicking into an order, they can view all the relevant information from the top of the page. It will show where the order came from (in this case from your marketplace), and whether it’s filled.
From there, they can also generate the shipping label and packing slip. When the order has been fulfilled, they can mark so.
Directly underneath the order number, they are able to refund the client in the case of cancelation. If the order has been fulfilled already, there is an option to restock it here.
