Introduction

In this article, we describe how to set up a Google shopping feed in the case that Onport doesn't support your vendor's platform.

Getting started

Through Onport you will be able to set up a Google shopping feed and fetch products from there as you would from any other dropship provider. This might be a useful alternative if Onport doesn’t support the platform you are working with. When fetching the inventory feed, each item will be displayed as a separate product. If needed, you also have the option to add some authentication.

How to set up a Google shopping feed

  1. Navigate to Contacts and click on New dropship provider
  2. Go to Inventory feeds and click on New inventory feed
  3. Select the XML icon, and add the resource location
  4. Save and fetch the feed

Mapping

Upon creating the feed, go to the Mapping tab and ensure you select the option "Google" here:

Onport will automatically map the Google Shopping fields without the need for any manual steps.
