Introduction
In Onport it is possible to set a commission to a specific group of items by tagging them. This is useful when, despite setting up a default commission rate for a vendor, you want to charge different commission rates for specific product sets - like having a 20% commission rate set for the dropship provider but wanting to charge 15% when products have the "shoes" tag, for example.
In this article, we will show you the steps you need to follow.
Setting up the commission rate
To apply a commission to a specific group of items you can tag the SKUs and add these tags under Contacts > Dropship providers > Payments setup tab > "Manage channel commission rates":
You can add as many tags as you want.
❗️Remember that tags are case-sensitive and have to be exactly the same so the information can be synchronized.
